Update 8/7/09

1. Butler’s Orchard: Called 8/7/09 -- blueberries - scattered, flowers, blackberries - excellent, red raspberries - available

2. Huber’s Farm: Called 8/7/09 -- red beets, hot & sweet peppers, squash, blackberries, lima beans, cherry tomatoes, regular tomatoes, parsley, eggplants, okra, half runner beans

3. Larriland Farm: Email update 8/4/09 -- yellow peaches - excellent, red & yellow raspberries - large & picking is fair, sweet onions - good, leeks - good, many different flowers, nectarines - good, white peaches - good when orchard is open (call for update), blueberries - scattered, tomatoes - start of season w/ regular red round garden variety, potatoes - Yukon Gold & All Blue (dig your own only on Sat.)

4. Homestead Farm: Email update 8/5/09 -- blackberries - good, peaches - good, zinnias available

5. Rock Hill Orchard: Called 8/7/09 -- blackberries, flowers

6. Lohr’s Orchard: Called 8/7/09 -- peaches $0.65/lb

7. Godfrey’s Farm: Called 8/7/09 -- no pick-your-own

8. Baugher’s Farm Orchard: Called 8/7/09 -- peaches

9. Pryor’s Orchard: Called 8/7/09 -- no more pick-your-own this year

10. Catoctin Mountain Orchard: Called 8/7/09 -- no answer

11. Shaw Orchards: Email update 8/6/09 -- blueberries still going strong on the far side of the field

12. Spring Valley Farm: Called 8/7/09 -- final day of picking in 2009, blackberries - limited, blueberries - limited & scattered, few peaches

13. Glade-Link Farms: Called 8/7/09 -- no pick-your-own at this time

14. Milburn Orchards: Called 8/7/09 -- blackberries & raspberries $4.35/lb

15. Walnut Springs: Called 8/7/09 -- 2009 season is over

16. Garden of Eden: Called 8/7/09 -- plenty of blueberries
